Plans have been submitted to redevelop part of the former Dinnington College campus.
Planning application RB2026/1145 proposes 141 homes on land at the former Dinnington Campus of Rotherham College on Doe Quarry Lane.
The proposal also includes a new vehicle access, while former teaching accommodation on the site would be demolished as part of the scheme.
The site has a long history of educational use, with parts of the former college campus having previously been retained for specialist education. This latest application concerns redevelopment of part of the wider former campus.
The application remains in the planning process and no final planning approval has been granted.
A development of this size could have implications for traffic, schools, local services and the wider Dinnington community. It could also bring a substantial number of new homes onto a significant brownfield site.
