E-scooter rider, 21, taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after Doncaster collision

A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision between an e-scooter and a car in Doncaster, South Yorkshire Police said.

The force said it was called to the junction of South Parade and Albion Place at about 13:45 BST on Saturday, where the e-scooter and a blue Kia Sportage had collided. The rider of the e-scooter was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Kia remained at the scene to speak to officers, police said. South Yorkshire Police have asked anyone with information or footage to get in contact.
