Firefighters are warning people about battery safety after a faulty vape battery is believed to have started a house fire on Abbeydale Road.
Three fire engines attended the incident on Sunday.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue says the fire began in an attic bedroom after a faulty vape battery ignited and flames spread to clothing and other nearby materials.
One hose reel was used to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is believed to have been accidental.
A reminder not to ignore damaged, overheating or faulty batteries.
