Sheffield City Council is holding a sleep session with a neurodivergent focus, for parents and carers of children who have a diagnosis of or are on the waiting list for Autism, ADHD or other neurodivergences.
The session will cover why sleep is important, how much sleep children need, what can happen if children don't sleep well, and what the sleep cycle is.
It will also look at how to help children sleep better, how sensory needs can affect sleep, and how to make a good bedtime routine, including using pictures.
The session runs on Wednesday 9 December 2026, from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Places can be reserved through the council's sign-up form, and anyone who has booked can cancel their place using the email address they booked with. For more information, call 0114 2057243.
