Sheffield City Council has reviewed the support available to residents struggling with poverty and the cost of living.
The council's Finance and Performance Policy Committee considered a thematic performance review on poverty and cost of living at its meeting on 19 October.
Existing help includes crisis payments, support with housing and council tax, benefits and budgeting advice, food support and assistance with utilities and household bills.
The council also operates a Community Helpline to help residents understand what financial assistance they may be entitled to and how to apply.
