A Sheffield man has been sentenced after admitting drug supply offences linked to a county line operating between Sheffield, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Constabulary said Corinthian Brown, 37, of Rothay Road, controlled the "CC Line", which was used to distribute heroin and crack cocaine.
Police said Brown had also taken over the home of a vulnerable woman as a base for dealing, a practice known as cuckooing. Officers later linked numerous mobile phones and mass marketing messages advertising Class A drugs to him.
Brown pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine between 1 February and 22 July, as well as cannabis possession on 21 July. At Derby Crown Court on 9 October he received a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence suspended for two-and-a-half years.
