The Cabinet Office has launched a new Test, Learn and Grow playbook aimed at helping local leaders design and deliver public services closer to their communities.
The launch was marked by an anniversary event in Sheffield hosted jointly by the Cabinet Office, Sheffield City Council and South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority.
The three-year Test, Learn and Grow programme began in 2025 and works with local authorities on challenges including youth employment and violence against women and girls.
Sheffield City Council leader Fran Belbin said the programme had helped showcase work taking place in the city to support children from less advantaged backgrounds.
