A Rotherham man already charged with the murder of former MP and former government minister Ann Widdecombe is due at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 7 October on a separate terrorism charge.
Joshua Kerry, 28, is accused of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts.
The Crown Prosecution Service says the alleged activity included preparations involving Reform UK leader Nigel Farage MP.
The charge relates to alleged activity between 31 May 2024 and 8 July 2026.
Kerry has not been convicted of either the terrorism or murder allegations.
Proceedings are active and he has the right to a fair trial.
