A Rotherham man accused of murdering former MP Ann Widdecombe is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court today on a separate charge of preparing terrorist acts.
Joshua Kerry, 28, is facing the additional allegation as legal proceedings continue.
The Crown Prosecution Service says Kerry is accused of conduct in preparation of terrorist acts.
The alleged activity is said to include conduct involving Nigel Farage MP, with the charge now due to be considered by the court.
