Sheffield Council runs weekly online breastfeeding support group

Sheffield City Council runs a weekly Breastfeeding Group online, described as a friendly place where parents can drop in for support, advice, or a chat.

The council says parents can come along if they need help with getting their baby to latch, finding a comfortable position, common feeding challenges or building their confidence.

Trained staff are on hand to listen and help with any questions, the council says.

The next session runs on Tuesday 10 November 2026, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. Places can be reserved through the council's sign-up form, and anyone who has already booked can cancel their place using the email address they booked with.

For more information, the council's contact number for the group is 0114 2735665.
