Sheffield City Council is running a practical seminar for parents and carers of school-aged children.
The session will explore why the quality of communication matters to a child's education, and how to create the best relationship environment for children.
It will cover how to set a good example for your child, how to help your child at home and at school, why what we do and say matters, and effective skills to improve communication in your relationships.
The seminar runs on Wednesday 9 December 2026, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Places can be reserved through the council's sign-up form, and anyone who has already booked can cancel their place using the email address they booked with.
For more information, the council can be contacted on 0114 205 7243.
