A Sheffield man has been given an extended 20-year sentence after admitting attempting to rape a woman in her 70s in Concord Park.
South Yorkshire Police say Ali Askre attacked and seriously injured the woman during the incident in March.
Police say the woman fought Askre off and was subsequently able to help officers identify him.
Askre will spend 12 years in custody, followed by a further eight years on licence as part of the extended sentence handed down by the court.
