People in Sheffield are being encouraged to nominate independent shops and other local firms in a nationwide competition to find the UK's Favourite Local Business for 2026.
The campaign is being supported locally by Sheffield BID and is intended to highlight independent and high-street businesses.
The winning business will receive a £1,000 Town & City Gift Card prize.
The competition also links with Sheffield's existing city-centre gift-card scheme, which is designed to keep more spending with local businesses.
