A training session called What is Infant Mental Health? Level 2 is being run by Sheffield City Council, with places bookable through the council's events pages.
The session is aimed at increasing knowledge of infant mental health and understanding of why the caregiver-infant relationship matters for emotional growth and healthy brain development, the council says.
It is also intended to build confidence to have preliminary conversations and help with appropriate signposting, and to offer ideas about what people can do within their role to promote positive infant mental health and wellbeing.
It is due to run on Monday 30 November 2026 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Sharrow Community Forum, The Old Junior School, South View Road, Sheffield S7 1DB.
People who have booked can cancel their place by entering the email address used to book, and places can be reserved through the council's sign-up form.
