Sheffield City Council is running a session for practitioners on risk outside the home and children who go missing.
The session, on Tuesday 3 November 2026 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, is aimed at people and organisations working with young people in the city.
The council says the session will cover the history and development of risk outside the home in Sheffield and the national picture, how to recognise areas of risk outside the home, grooming and vulnerability, and contextual approaches to safeguarding young people from that risk.
It will also look at referral processes and the services available to support practitioners and their organisations.
Places can be reserved through the council's sign-up form, and anyone who has already booked can cancel their place by entering the email address they used to book.
