Two fire engines attended a fire in a kitchen on Newlands Grove, Sheffield after a call was received at 6.05pm.
The fire was caused by oven gloves that had been left on the hob accidentally. These were removed from the building by firefighters who also cleared the smoke with a ventilation fan.
Firefighters left the scene by 7pm. Crews from Birley and Lowedges attended, and the incident was recorded as accidental.
