As the clocks have gone back and we head towards winter, South Yorkshire Police say they wanted to remind communities about the Herbert Protocol.
The force says the scheme enables family and friends to provide important information about their loved ones living with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Police say the information gathered can then be used to help if that person ever goes missing.
